Wholebeing Institute is committed to living into our highest and best, and that includes ensuring a positive work environment that we create together. Not only is discrimination and harassment illegal, it’s also the opposite of what we are striving to create.
Our work relationships are free of explicit bias, with an eye instead to strengths-spotting. That is the standard and the expectation of people who work, study, and connect on our platform. We make every reasonable effort to ensure that all concerned are familiar with these policies and standards. Any complaint in violation of these policies is investigated and resolved appropriately. Report discrimination concerns to any WBI faculty or management personnel. No one is punished for reporting discrimination, participating in a discrimination investigation or lawsuit, or opposing discrimination.
We make every reasonable accommodations to those who need them for medical or religious reasons. Not only is that required by law, it is the right thing to do so that everyone can contribute fully.
For all self-directed, online courses, we offer a full refund to students who wish to cancel within the first seven (7) business days after purchasing the course.
For all instructor-led, live online courses, we offer a full refund to students who wish to cancel within 48 hours prior to the start of the course. No refunds are given after the program begins. We do offer to credit the amount paid to use toward another session of the same course or a different course offered by WBI.
For all programs with a long-term and/or on-site residency component, the refund policy is as follows:
✦ No refunds will be given for transportation costs incurred.
✦ Tuition will be refunded (less a $50 processing fee) for cancellations on the following schedule:
✓ 60 days or more prior to the first day of class: 100%
✓ 30–59 days prior to the first day of class: 50%
✓ Less than 30 days prior to first day of class: 0%
For all trainings that offer licensing, the training programs are eligible for refunds based on the examples above. Only those who have completed such trainings are eligible for a license.
✲ Please note: The Licensee shall pay to Wholebeing Institute a non-refundable licensing fee of $500.00 (the “License Fee”), which shall be paid in full by the Licensee upon the execution of the Agreement. The Licensee acknowledges and agrees that the Licensee shall not be refunded all or any portion of the License Fee upon the termination of the Agreement for any reason whatsoever.
Wholebeing Institute reserves the right to cancel any program at any time. In the event that we do, a full refund will be given.
These recordings may be used for educational, archival, or promotional purposes — including on our website, email communications, and social media platforms (such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram).
We are committed to maintaining your privacy. While your identity will not be highlighted or named without permission, your image may appear incidentally in shared media.
By registering for an event, you provide consent for your likeness to be used in this way, unless you notify us in advance.
If you prefer not to be included in any media, please contact us prior to the event and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
All grievances must be in writing and submitted to WBI via email to help@wholebeinginstitute.com with the subject line grievance.
In that email, state clearly and concisely all the known facts related to your grievance, including “who, what, where, when and the why.” Clearly explain why you disagree with act or omission that forms the basis for the grievance. Also explain what remedy you are requesting. Sign and date the email.
Grievances must be submitted within 30 calendar days following the date you first knew or should have known of the grievance. If you do not submit the grievance within the 30-day period, you waive your right to assert it.
WBI will respond in writing within ten (10) days following receipt of your grievance via email.
Within ten (10) days following your receipt of the written answer, you may appeal the disposition of your grievance by your supervisor to the founder, Megan McDonough, at megan@wholebeinginstitute.com, who will then undertake an investigation of your grievance and the underlying facts. Within 15 business days following receipt of your grievance, she will meet with you virtually to discuss your grievance. Megan will then provide a written response to your grievance within 15 business days following the date of your meeting.
